About the role
We want to give you the best start to your career and will invest time in your personal development from day one. You will be closely matched with a technical mentor and project. During your onboarding, your mentor and manager will collaborate with you on your development plan to help you achieve your goals.
As a Junior Software Devleoper at Cegal SYSCO, you will get the opportunity to:

Manfred Bjørlin - TechMentor / Lead Consultant Software Development
In our tech mentor program, we ensure that all juniors have a mentor helping them reach their goals and keep developing as a professional. We assist them on creating a development plan, follow up this and ensure that they will get the required advanced training. In addition to make sure they attend relevant courses and conferences. If the junior’s focus changes to another technology, changing tech mentor is just as easy.
We’re a team of senior consultants with expertise in a wide variety of fields, so we will strive to find the right tech mentor for each junior. We also strive to get our tech mentors engaged in the same projects as the mentee, which makes on-the-job training much easier and ensures close contact and communication between the tech mentor and the junior. Our main focus is our mentee’s professional competence and development
About our Integration & Development department
In the Integration & Development department we value how our differences allow us to reach common goals. Although most of our employees live and work in Norway, a majority are international, and this plays a central role in defining our collective culture. Our department consists of many experienced developers, architects, and project managers who love to assist with their expertise. Competency sharing is one of our main cultural traits.
