Presentation schedule

The following presentations will be held at the Cegal booth #2025 during IMAGE 2025.

Accelerating interpretation with Blueback Well Ties - a new automated multi-well, multi-seismic well tie solution for Petrel.
By Mark O'Brien

Performing seismic well ties can often become a labor-intensive and time-consuming task, particularly in mature fields that contain a large number of wells and regularly receive new vintages of partial angle stacks. Managing and updating these ties manually across multiple seismic datasets can significantly slow down interpretation workflows and introduce inconsistencies.
Blueback Well Ties is a new and advanced well tie solution developed for Petrel that streamlines and automates this process. It empowers users to efficiently tie multiple seismic angle stacks, including intercept, gradient, and Chi volumes, simultaneously to a large number of wells. By reducing manual effort and ensuring consistency across all data inputs, Blueback Well Ties enhances both the speed and accuracy of seismic-to-well calibration, making it an essential tool for geoscientists working in complex, data-rich environments.

Blueback Avary: seamlessly navigate complex geophysical domains with the power of the Flows architecture.
By Mark O'Brien

Blueback Avary is built upon Cegal’s next-generation subsurface software architecture – Flows. This innovative architecture is specifically designed to meet the evolving demands of modern geoscience workflows.
With Flows, users benefit from a highly optimized and scalable software framework that delivers exceptional performance across complex seismic domains. Whether working in the angle, frequency, or vintage domain, Flows enables seamless, high-speed analysis at scale, empowering users to handle increasingly large and diverse datasets with confidence and efficiency.
This architecture not only accelerates seismic interpretation and data processing but also ensures a smooth, integrated experience across the full seismic value chain, from exploration to reservoir characterization.

Dynamic AVO analysis and reconnaissance tightly integrated into Petrel.
By Mark O'Brien

This session will demonstrate tightly integrated seismic data conditioning and AVO Analysis, as well as spatial AVO reconnaissance using the Blueback Investigator and using the Blueback Seismic Reservoir Characterization plug-ins for Petrel.

Innovative seismic tools unlocking fresh perspectives on data.
By Jezy Cooke

Unlocking the full potential of your data in Petrel with Blueback Investigator.
By Jezy Cooke

Python Tool Pro 2.6 and 2.7: New features and enhancements.
By Vlad Rotar

This session will showcase the latest features introduced in Python Tool Pro 2.6 and 2.7. Learn how these enhancements extend workflow automation, data management, and Python integration within Petrel.

Enabling data science workflows in Petrel with Cegal Prizm.
By Vlad Rotar

Discover how Cegal Prizm can integrate data science workflows into Petrel, expanding the possibilities for advanced analytics and machine learning. This session explores how Python based workflows can enhance subsurface data interpretation within the Petrel environment.

Subsurface data clean-up before Migration.
By Zaphod Peters

The Cegal Data Program is our way of resolving looming subsurface and data issues in your corporation. In this presentation, through our three-stage process of assessing, rationalizing, and reporting on your data environment. We highlight each process and review some past case studies that include Data Migration to a Cloud/OSDU environment.
