Another highly anticipated addition in Toolbox 21.2 is the Convert Image to Surface tool.

This tool allows users to:

• Extract and convert imported, geo‑referenced images into Petrel surface objects
• Generate surfaces from complex images such as fault polygons, seismic survey boundaries and annotations
• Detect and filter colours using multiple colour palettes, including RGB, CMYK and HSV

This enables faster and more accurate interpretation from image-based data.
